Kindergarten

4 years of age before September 1st

Kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, general knowledge and their ability to get along with each other. It also includes expanding their interest in reaching out to the world.

Goals for this class include: expanding oral language proficiency in English and Hebrew, developing fine motor skills, recognizing and understanding sound and symbol relationships in English and Hebrew, learning the Parasha, Chaggim and encouraging problem solving and critical thinking. The students develop rhythm, melody, and harmony and learn to understand patterning, symmetry and balance.
