Mrs. Daphne Orenshein

Mrs. Daphne Orenshein teaches 5th Grade General Studies at Hillel. She has been teaching at the school for the past 6 years. Mrs. Orenshein received her Bachelors in Psychology from UCLA and multiple subject K-12 Professional Clear Credential from CSUN. She also has her masters and credentials in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from CSUN. Mrs. Orenshein won the Golomb Teacher of the Year Award in 2010. She loves the challenge of teaching a variety of thinkers and relishes the opportunity to integrate real-world scenarios and life lessons into her curriculum. She is happily married and the mother of four boys. Mrs. Orenshein loves to sing, dance, exercise, eat chocolate and read stories to children.
