What is the PTA?
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a team of dedicated parents and teachers who help the school feel like a community. From Mommy and Me classes through Eighth Grade, from the first day of the school year until the last day, PTA parent volunteers support the teachers and the administration in their dedication to our children’s education. Led by co-Presidents Jaime Esshaghian and Sharon Gomperts, the PTA runs great events, like Family Fun Day, Bingo Night, the Purim Carnival and two Book Fairs; the Room Parents, under the coordination of Hourash Rabbanian, help the teachers communicate with parents; and of course, the PTA provides healthy, delicious snacks every Wednesday in the yard!

The PTA has a strong organized board that leads a team of dedicated committee chairs and room parents. The PTA holds monthly meetings featuring speakers from around our community. The meetings are open to all parents and faculty and are a fun way to meet other parents, stay informed and strengthen our community.

There are many opportunities to volunteer and participate throughout the year. So browse our page, and then email us pta@HillelHebrew.org and get involved!
