This checklist is provided to guide you through the sequential steps of our application process:
1. Complete a Preliminary Inquiry Form online and the Director of Admissions will contact you to arrange for a tour. If you are visiting on a tour day, you can fill out a hard copy of this form when you are here.
2. To proceed after the preliminary stage in applying, please download and print copies of the following required forms:
• Authorization for the Exchange of Information Form
• Administrator Recommendation Form
Please submit the application and non-refundable application fee by mail or in person.
Give the required forms to your child(ren)'s current school. Those forms are confidential and will be sent from your child's school directly to Hillel.
3. ALL of the forms and fees must be received, and then we will contact you to arrange for the interview/visit.
4. The final stage includes a parent meeting with Rabbi Y. Boruch Sufrin, Head of School. This meeting will give us an opportunity to get to know you and to answer questions you may have about our school.
Current Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy families receive priority consideration in the re-registration and application process. Our priority deadline ends the first Friday in February. We then go to open enrollment the second week in February.
