Mr. Nathan Elchico

Mr. Nathaniel Elchico is a math teacher at Hillel for middle school students. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at the University of the Philippines in Manila. Mr. Elchico is credentialed in Mathematics (6-12) and in Physics, in the state of Texas. He is also credentialed to teach Mathematics in the state of California.  He has also passed two of the California Subject Examinations for Teachers for Mathematics. He has been teaching for 11 years, 5 of them in private schools and 6 in public schools in the state of Texas. Mr. Elchico has been awarded as the teacher with Most Humor in the Classroom teaching in Pacific Hills School and a Certificate of Recognition from the Mayor of West Hollywood, Abbe Land. The use of technology in teaching Mathematics has been one of his priorities in the classroom and Mr. Elchico will be implementing this using the E-Instruction Clickers set to the students. Integration of Art and Mathematics with the use of rubrics is also one of his goals. Mr. Elchico likes playing video games as well as watching tons of movies during his spare time.
