Ms. Jessica Walch

Ms. Jessica Walch, 5th Grade General Studies teacher, has been teaching at Hillel since 2006. She graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2006, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Liberal Studies concentrating in U.S. History. Along with her BA, She received her multiple subject teaching credential. She then earned her Clear Professional Credential from National University in 2009, as well as her Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Certificate from the University of California, San Diego. Before coming to Hillel Ms. Walch worked as a student teacher at Melvin Avenue Elementary School and CHIME Charter Elementary School as well as a private tutor for all age groups. She is looking forward to receiving her Masters in Teaching (MAT) from USC in 2011. Teaching is her passion and Ms. Walch also enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, hiking and cooking.
