Morah Iris Harel

Morah Iris Harel is the Hebrew Language teacher for grades 2nd, 3rd and 5th. She was born in Israel where she completed her service in the I.D.F., and then graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Morah Iris has been involved at Hillel for many years through the PTA where she served as co-president for three years.

Morah Iris's love of children is what attracted her to teaching and she feels that Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy is her home. In addition, Morah Iris is the Em Bayit for the Bat Ami and is responsible for Hillel's Tomchei Shabbat route.

In her free time, Morah Iris enjoys reading, baking, knitting, needlepoint and playing tennis.
