Dear Parents

Wow the year is flying by in Nursery we are so excited and happy it is the month of Adar and we are sameach. Mishe nichnas Adar marbim besimcha. The yeladim have been very busy celebrating making beautiful projects to celebrate chag Purim. We are singing songs and dancing around, dress up is so much fun and culminating this fun chag we had a dress up parade what fun to see all our friends dress up in their favorite costumes.

Moving on we are beginning to learn about Aviv especially because we will be learning all about Pesach. Aviv higiyah pesach bah. The yeladim will be learning all about the chag Pesach as well as spring as we start to dress in lighter clothing and it is sunny outside we plant seeds and watch the trees for new buds to grow.

Hebrew Immersion we have finished our first book and are very excited to share it with you very soon. We have been learning all the ivrit for Purim and now we will begin a new unit on Aviv and Pesach.

Every week we continue to learn a new letter and the yeladim are becoming proficient at recognizing their names in English and Hebrew as well as the new letters we are learning especially the yeladim whose name begins with that letter.

Dear Parents

We are so excited to be learning all about the wonderful nes that happened. The yeladim are learning all about the story of Chanukah and how the shemen lasted for eight days instead of one. They learned how Yehuda HaMaccabi led the Jewish people to victory and never stopped praying to Hashem. While the yeladim are learning they are also working on their fine and gross motor skills some examples are cutting, gluing, coloring. We are making a counting book which improves one to one correspondence and they get to recall all the information from the story which improves memorization. The yeladim are working very hard to create beautiful projects.

We are looking forward to seeing all our special guests at the Chanukah party next week.

We are continuing to work on our All about me projects this is an ongoing project and the yeladim are enjoying seeing their bodies displayed around our classroom

HEBREW IMMERSION
We are continuing to work on our  tsevaim (colors). Every week we are introducing a new tsevah and once we have learned all the colors we will be making a book.
The yeladim also learn the vocabulary for the chagim in ivrit that we learn about.

ABC-ALEPH-BET

Every week we alternate between learning a hebrew letter and the alphabet currently we are learning the letter Ff and Hay in hebrew.

Following Chanukah we will be begin learning about Winter/choref.
