(This is the English version to a Hebrew song called “Chag Purim”)

Purim day, Purim day,
 What a happy holiday.
Wear a mask; wear a crown, dancing all around!
Round go the Groggers, rash, rash, rash! (3x)
On Purim day!

what a week it has been in Pre-Nursery! Purim finally arrived and what fun it was! we started off the week with a spectacular purim play in which the Morot played out for the yeladim. this week, we also got to bake our very own Hamantashen! some of us filled our Hamantashen with Jelly, some with chocolate cream, and our favorite choice was chocolate chips! as purim day arrived, the yeladim were so excited to take home thier beautiful fun and interactive projects that they have made. On shushan purim was our dress-up day! the yeladim came in with adorable costumes and had a great time dancing outside with their friends, eating snow cones and enjoying this fun Holiday :)
Our Hamantash cookie recipe:
1 1/2 cups butter or margerine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. orange juice
2 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 cups flour.
Mix together softened margerine or butter with sugar, then add in eggs and vanilla, then add orange juice. Slowly add in flour with baking powder.  bake 350' for 8-10 minutes. Enjoy!
