Our 5^th graders had finished unit 8 of Chaverim B’Ivrit series. The topic of this unit is “animals”. As we complete this unit we are going to conduct a “self study research”. Each student is to choose an animal (not a pet) and research about it using library books and or Internet. The project will include information about animal’s habitat, food and anatomy. The project should be presented in class on a poster in a creative way. Each student should be able to speak about his selected animal for one minute. The project is due on February 29, 2012.

In honor of our completion of units 7 and 8 in the series “Chaverim B’Ivrit”, we are planning to meet at Mia’s home at 8:00am. We will doven Shachrit together, eat breakfast and then bake cookies in different shapes of animals. Please sign and send back the permission slip.

Every Tuesday evening is RosettaStone home work night!
